Biobanks – by request

In 2003 we published a final report from the project "The use of human biobanks". By request, we are now publishing a pdf version of the report: Hansson, M.G. & Levin, M. (eds.), 2003: Biobanks as Resources for Health >

Gender and ethics: New project on gender aspects in telenursing

CRB includes gender aspects in both research and teaching and gender theory is an integrated part of the ethics training for nursing students. In September a PhD project started that will investigate gender differences in the communication and outcome of telenursing consultations and develop a tool for analysis of gender competence. The project also has a practical outcome, testing an educational intervention aiming at increasing gender competence among telenurses.

International network collaborations: New network on culture, health and bioethics

Together with researchers from the universities in Bergen, Oslo, Tromsö, Newcastle, Sussex, Uppsala and Umeå, CRB has formed a multi-disciplinary network on culture, health and bioethics. The network is funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond. CRB also has established network collaborations on biobank ethics, end of life decisions, neuroethics, research ethics and bioethics.
