End of Life Decisions: Ethics in clinical practice, research and policy


General information


The symposium will be held at Seglarhotellet, Sandhamn. The symposium starts with lunch on Monday June 8 and ends in the afternoon on Tuesday June 9. Sandhamn is an island in the Stockholm archipelago and the programme is planned to suit boat departures from Strandvägen, Stockholm.

We welcome researchers, clinicians and PhD students together with representatives of NGOs and government organizations in relevant fields.

Boat departures

The programme is planned to suit the Cinderella boats departure times from Strandvägskajen, Stockholm.

Monday June 8
Departure Stockholm: 09:30, Arrival Sandhamn: 11:45

Tuesday June 9
Departure Sandhamn: 15:00, Arrival Stockholm: 17:05

Alternate route: Bus from Stockholm (Slussen) to Stavsnäs (Vinterhamnen), boat from Stavsnäs to Sandhamn.

All prices quoted include VAT (25%)

Registration fee

2375 SEK.

The registration fee includes lunch, coffee and dinner on Monday June 8, lunch and coffee on Tuesday June 9.

Reduced fee - this cateory is full

A limited number of PhD students are welcome to participate at a highly subsidised fee, 750 SEK (including VAT). The fee includes meals as listed above and accommodation at Seglarhotellet in shared (twin) rooms.

Hotel

The symposium is held at Seglarhotellet, Sandhamn (www.sandhamn.com). We have reserved rooms for symposium participants. When registering, you can make reservations for the night 9-10 June. Single room is 2000 SEK (incl VAT) and double room is 1500 SEK per person (incl VAT). The room will be added to your registration fee on the invoice you receive from us.

Reservations for additional nights should be made to the hotel directly. Please note that room rates for the symposium and for private guests differ.
