Welcome to the "Sharing good practices for ethical thesis supervision" learning, teaching, and training event, organized as part of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships project “Bridging Integrity in Higher Education, Business and Society” (BRIDGE 2020-1-SE01-KA203-077973). The BRIDGE project aims to create a bridge between academic sphere, business and society in order to reach a broader understanding of interrelated aspects of integrity between these fields.

The event will take place on March 21st and will feature a full day (9-15) of informative and interactive workshops and presentations in ethics and integrity in supervision, designed for anyone involved in the supervision of master and doctoral students.

The day will start with a welcome and a short presentation of the BRIDGE project, followed by the first workshop entitled "Ethical thesis supervision in the time of artificial intelligence". In this workshop, the potential benefits and risks of using artificial intelligence in doctoral research and supervision will be explored.

After a coffee break, we will present two educational modules from the BRIDGE project: "Ethical Publishing" and the "Module for Supervisors". These modules will provide practical guidance on ethical issues related to research publishing and supervision of master and doctoral students.

In the afternoon, we will continue with the second workshop, "Sharing good practices for ethical supervision". In this workshop, you are invited to discuss best practices for ensuring ethical supervision and share your own experiences

The event will conclude with a brief wrap-up and closing remarks.

The event provides an opportunity for anyone involved in supervision of master and doctoral students to learn from peers. We look forward to seeing you there!
