Public awareness of antibiotic resistance


 Antibiotic resistance is one of the biggest threats to global health, food security, and development today. Mirko Ancillotti's research focuses on the Swedish public's perception of this growing issue. 

Antibiotic resistance can affect anyone, of any age, in any country. Infections like pneumonia, tuberculosis, gonorrhoea, and salmonellosis are becoming increasingly difficult to treat. At Uppsala University's SciFest 2019, Mirko Ancillotti from the Centre for Research Ethics & Bioethics gave an interview to the Uppsala Antibiotic Centre podcast: The AMR Studio.
