Kajsa Norberg Wieslander joined CRB in September 2020. Her PhD project explores ethical and clinical aspects of recruiting children with cancer to research studies, including ethical values and challenges related to consent- and assent processes. Using qualitative methods, combined with ethical analysis, she explores the experiences and perspectives of health care professionals, and ethical review board members, as well research experiences among children and their parents.

Kajsa Norberg Wieslander holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from Uppsala University. She has experience from feasibility research of complex e-Health interventions within psycho-oncology, and stress reduction through compassion- and mindfulness training. She strives to use her interest in psychological consequences of disease to further research- and clinical ethics in pediatric settings.
