Call for papers: Uppsala University Medical Ethics Conference - UMEC
We open a Call for Papers to the Uppsala University Medical Ethics Conference (UMEC) 2024. addressing the issues mentioned across the different tracks presented below, and going beyond. Please submit your abstract of maximum 250 words no later than March 31th, 2024.
The Centre for Research ethics and Bioethics (CRB) at Uppsala University is pleased to announce UMEC, aiming at bringing together researchers in this field from Sweden and abroad.
We welcome contributions presenting ongoing work in medical ethics, broadly conceived. In particular, we welcome normative approaches or empirical work with clear normative relevance to topics in clinical ethics, public health ethics, research ethics, and medical law. We only accept oral presentations in English. The conference is held on location at Uppsala University. The total time for each speaker is an estimated 25 minutes. Please plan your talk to allow for at least 5 minutes of discussion. We encourage 15 minutes talk, 10 minutes discussion.
